I've photographed weddings in places that couldn't be more different — from family properties and woolsheds to churches, country pubs, city venues and island beaches — and I love that no two are ever quite the same.
For me, weddings have always been about the people. It's who is there, the relationships between them, the laughter and the nerves, what goes exactly to plan and all the little things that don't. After nearly two decades behind the camera, I've learnt that the photographs people love most are often of moments nobody planned.
That's what I'm watching for.
I keep things relaxed and let the day unfold, and a portrait of the two of you is never an afterthought — I think they matter, and I know how to make them feel and look special. Wherever we are, I know how to find the light. I'll give you direction when you need it — but only when you need it.
